Penelope Kim Designs, LLC is a small interior design firm that was established in 1997.  It is a full service firm, offering design services from planning and programming, to preparation of construction documents and purchasing furniture.  Previous projects have ranged in scale and scope from the renovation of a studio apartment to the interior design for an entire condominium development.  A commitment to service, a hands-on approach, sensitivity to color and materials, and a sense of elegance and style characterize this design firm.

Penelope Kim is the principal and sole proprietor of the firm. Ms. Kim has over 20 years of experience in commercial interior design in New York City and is LEED-certified in commercial interiors.  In 2025, she received her certificate in Landscape Design from the New York Botanical Garden, and is currently pursuing her certificate in Horticulture. Ms. Kim has expanding her focus from a home’s interior to the exterior, with garden and landscape designs to enhance and complement her interiors.
